Train travel is one of our absolute favorites in Vietnam. After years of riding them we still get surprised by how clean, spacious and affordable the good ones are compared with buses or private cars on the same routes.
Not every train is equal though, so we put together the exact routes and companies we keep booking ourselves, including the ones shown in the video. From the scenic Hanoi to Sapa line to segments of the long Reunification Express and a few new tourism round-trips, everything is linked with the booking app we use for sleeper trains.
