Hey, we're Liam & Sarah
We moved here for what we thought would be one year… and never left. What started as simple updates for friends and family quickly turned into Two Peas Abroad — our way of helping travelers experience the real Vietnam we've fallen in love with.
Our Story
Still finding new favourites every week ✨
We met online during the pandemic, built a long-distance relationship, and started dreaming about a place where we could build a life together. Liam (former software engineer from London) had visited Vietnam in 2017 and immediately fell for the landscapes, food, and especially the people. In early 2023 we finally made the move so Sarah could try teaching English.
Within months, we knew Vietnam wasn't just a temporary stop. The warmth of daily life, the incredible diversity of the country, and the kindness of Vietnamese people made it feel like home faster than anywhere else we'd considered.
From riding motorbikes through the mountains of Ha Giang (we've been back 5+ times), celebrating our first Tết in a family homestay in Sa Pa, to hunting down the best bún bò Huế in hidden alleys — every experience has deepened our love for this country.
