How Not to Get Sick in Vietnam Street Food

We've been living in Vietnam since 2023 and eat street food and local spots daily without issues. These are the habits and tips that keep us well so we can enjoy everything the country has to offer.

Stick to freshly cooked hot food, bottled water, wash your hands often, and use lime on utensils (a simple local trick). Busy places with lots of locals is a great sign. We also share our personal favorite go-to spots in our maps.
