Hanoi Train Street Update - Possible Train Stoppage

Hanoi has proposed rerouting trains away from Train Street for safety, potentially turning it into a pedestrian heritage site only.

Hanoi authorities have proposed stopping trains from running through Train Street to improve safety. If approved, the street would become a walkable heritage site with no more trains passing cafes.

Overnight and day trains would still run, just rerouted to different stations. Any change wouldn't happen until April or June at earliest and there's no final decision yet.

Keep planning your visit for now. We'll update as soon as anything official comes out, we're there every couple of weeks anyway!
